about

Rafe's Note:

This ended up being the first I Remember 2006 side project, when Threshold Lost was planned to be first, but things change via inspiration. If you've listen to the most recent IR06 album, you may have heard some Swans influences. This project was spawned from the songs "Branch" and "Don't Speak". Vrishika Closing is Will and I's No Wave project. heavily inspired by early Swans. I at one point thought Will sang in more songs than I, but he proved me wrong. Still, I'd like him to have an album where he's main vocalist. Hopefully in the next VC album. I hope you enjoy this chaotic album as much as we enjoyed making it. And thank you for everyone's who's stuck around with us for the crazy roller-coaster rides we've all been on.

- Rafe (RonZak) LaNore

PS: Listening back, I was correct. Wilbur, you are the main vocalist here. I sang on Shackles, Tunnel Vision, and Wind. Wilbur sang on Become, A Chase, Cameras Can't See Us, and Try.

Will's Note:

Hello.
I hope this album finds you well. We put in a lot of effort trying to get a specific sound for this album. We kept up my grandparents longer than they might have wanted with the loudness of my amplifier and the aggression of my drum-playing. However, I am very thankful that they let us use their basement as a recording space.
For this album, I almost surpassed Rafe with the amount of songs I sang for. He mentioned that he wants there to be an album where I’m the lead singer, and I’m not opposed to that, but I also lack in lyrical creativity.
I don’t have too much to say about this album, but I really enjoyed making it. It was a lot of fun, and my vocal cords are shot.

I’d like to thank God, my grandparents, my sister, my therapist, Madalene, Brenda, and Rafe. You all are so supportive and kind, and I couldn’t imagine a world without you guys.

I love you,
-Wilbur Bullara
